Owed this for loong to IIT-G.!!
how many times did i write about it,researched about it,clicked pics and saw em..but i did actually never write about it...IIT Guwahati..one o the best time of my life,in the year gone by....it ws lik a state o trance,i lived my life in those few days..there ws everything i need to call it a life..there were stretches of green as far as the eye could see,variety of species of insects flies and d infamous iit-g mosquitoes..i might still find a sting or two..exaggerating of course,but visitors pls carry mossi-repellents,everything else ws also perfect,more so for me coz it was my first out-station debate,participatin in a debate as an adjudicator and gettin to visit one of the loveliest places in India was a brilliant combo..i ws in iit..n i still remember a lot o names and also a few people distinctly,
from envy towards my co-adjudicator to pride in ourselves as a team i felt it all,there ws bonding in d hostels,losing my phone,a phenomenon too common wid me,and i find it back,thanks to the canteen bhaiya..he was an awesome canteen guy..friendly in the right proportions,midnight maggies,knockin on random doors to search the girl,i handed over my i pod to,i wanted to charge it,she volunteered to do that,i wanted to whimsically surf the net,a few girls volunteered to let me use their comps..!!..were iitians always this friendly or were they jus being the best hosts ever..i really dunno..i remem the final debate..it probably ws the best 20 mins of the whole trip..to see 2 symbi teams in finals was a dream come true for all o us colg patriots..pride and that was all we felt..we made fun o em..they smiled at winked at us from on stage..we clapped and boo-ed both teams,and one of our teams finally won and the other won d best speaker award...it ws as good as it gets..the sprawling campus ws so magnanimous in its beauty and resources that i can't find words to describe it..being the smokers on a totally non smokin campus made us the rebels,so even that trait of mine got adequate boost.!!..i got all wot i expected from the trip and more..love the place,wanna go bak..and would always treasure memories,written and unwritten..!!
